Dr. Sarah Daane-Froehlich has been interested in acupuncture since veterinary school. She graduated from the University of Illinois with her DVM in 1986. She has practiced in small animal, equine and mixed animal clinics. She has been using acupuncture since 1998 and chiropractic since 2003. In 2005 she added craniosacral. Dr. Sarah is certified in veterinary acupuncture by the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society and is certified in animal chiropractic by the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association. She is a member of IVAS, AVCA, American Academy of Veterinary Acupuncture and the American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association. She enthusiastically pursues further education in various areas of holistic medicine.
Dr. Sarah’s interests include nearly all things equine.Over the years she has had experience with dressage, trail riding, horse packing and hunting, hunter/jumpers, combined training/eventing, driving and even a little exposure to polo. She has herded horses, cattle and sheep. Dr. Sarah has worked at endurance rides and enjoyed gaited horses. Currently she owns one horse, two dogs and a cat. Working with agility dogs has been enjoyable; she usually has a booth at local agility trials. She is also active in Boy Scouts with her son.
